IV. A Deacon Should Be Nuptial – 3:11
V. A Deacon Should Be Fruitful – 3:12
VI. A Deacon Should Be Useable – 3:13

I am looking forward to Ordaining Sam Postell in our Deacon Ordination Council. All ordained men are welcome to attend the Council meeting at 7:00 am.
The Installation Service will begin at 8:30 as we install three new Deacons. We will introduce all three newly elected men and their wives. We will also recognize the 3 men who have served for three years and rotating off. We will recognize Sam as our newly ordained Deacon and his wife and family. The installation of these men will conclude with all of the Deacons laying hands on these men and praying over them.
I am so thankful for the Deacon Body at 2nd Mile Church. They serve the needs of this church in a humble, Christ-like manner. The harmony and unity we experience as a church family is due in large part to the ministry they provide among us. Dick Littleton, the Chairman of the Deacon Body, reminded me that we have a great makeup of experienced Deacons along with younger men now serving as Deacons.
It is going to be another great Sunday at 2nd Mile. Looking forward to it.
