“What To Look For In A Pastor” 1st Peter 5:1-4

I. A Pastor Should Shepherd the Flock Humbly – 5:1,3
II. A Pastor Should Feed the Flock Fully – 5:2
III. A Pastor Should Lead the Flock Faithfully – 5:2b,3b
IV. A Pastor Should Bleed for the Flock Willingly – 5:2

Since the ordeal with my health for the last year and a half, I’ve been contemplating how much time I have left in full-time ministry. I love what I do and am called to do what I do but I can’t serve in the pastoral ministry forever. I would love to serve for several more years but that is up to the Lord. When my time is finished here at 2nd Mile there are some things you need to look for in a Pastor. I am also sharing these truths with our Kenwood Campus. They need to know what to look for in a Pastor.
